What is PTC and How Does It Work

PTC is an old method of online earning. It is very simple and almost every person who can use computer and internet, he/she can earn a handsome amount from this method. This earning depends on your work, which needs to be smart rather than hard. I am not saying you to stop working hard, instead, one shall work smartly to get more profit.

If you are a beginner, let me give you a little brief. I will try to be very precised and keep this short.

What is a PTC website?

PTC stands for Paid to Click. In this earning method, a PTC website is a platform which provide an opportunity to its worker to work from home. It is basically used to display ads from different companies/ websites/ vendors who want their advertisement to be displayed to people worldwide. 

How does a PTC website work?

The answer is very simple. A PTC site act as a middleman between advertisers and viewers. It earns commission for providing its facility to, both, advertisers and viewers. 

A PTC website gets an advert from advertiser and displays it on adverts section and gets paid a fixed amount from the advertiser. The viewers are people (like me and you) from around the world who want to make money online right from his/ her home. He/ she registers on the PTC website as viewer and watch the adverts which are provided by the website in adverts section. PTC website pays a little amount for viewing the adverts to the viewer. This is a portion of payment it gets from advertiser.

How can I earn money from PTC website?

Answer is "By viewing advertisements" 

Let me explain!

Every PTC site offers membership to the viewers. It means that you have to join the PTC website by filling some information, normally an email address, as username, real name and date of birth, etc. At the time of joining, all members are awarded a Standard Membership which if Free and never expires. This membership can be upgraded after paying a prescribed fee to the PTC website and this fee, period of membership and other benefits are normally different in each website. 

Once you have registered as Standard or Free member, you have to log in to your account, move to Ads Section and watch available ads. It is very simple task. You have to click with mouse on the advert link and watch it for a specified period (5 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec or 30 sec or more). Once you open an advert by clicking on it, you have to let it open for the prescribed time and close it. Completing this action will get your account credited with an amount which will be directly related to worth of your ad viewed. This worth is determined by some factors; and length of ad (in seconds) is the main factor. The longer the ad duration, the higher the payment. 

You will be given minimum 4 ads to maximum 15 or 20 or more, as per the website's policy. You can earn money as per your membership status. Free or Standard members earn less than the upgraded members.

There are few other option present on PTC website to earn you more money. One of them is referral system. This can be different in each PTC. 

Referral is a person who is joined the PTC website through your reference. 

You can refer other people to the PTC websites. Once you join the PTC website, you are allotted a referral link. You just need to share your personal referral link to other people you want to invite. They will be directed to the website through your link and will be included in your downline. PTC websites offer different incentives to its members for referring others. This can be one time or life time affiliate commission.

When we talk about life time commission, it is like you will get a percentage of work your referrals do. This can be between 10% to 100% of their earnings.

Another option in referral system is to hire a referral for a specific period directly from the PTC website. Many PTC sites offer this hiring, but other do not. Member can hire a limited number of referrals and this limit is set by PTC website. You have to pay a rent of each referral, e.g $0.20 for each referral for 30 days.

What are the requirements to work on PTC website?

There is very less requirement you need to fulfill. Here is the list:

• A PC or Laptop or Smartphone
• An internet connection
• Knowledge to browse websites
• Email address, preferably gmail
• Payment Processors
• Bank Account

How much can I earn?

This is also an interesting section of my article, because this may motivate you to try this earning method or may disappoint you. 

Let's begin.

As far as we talk about the potential of earning in this method, let me say, it is more than $100 per day. Yes! You read it right...

But being true, I would say that it is achieved after a long time, maybe a year or more. Keeping it aside, if we talk about a standby income, a beginner can earn $10 every day. And once you have mastered the whole PTC system, you can easily climb up and your earnings will start multiplying.

Let me give you a short overview:

If you join 1 x PTC website and click 4 x standard ads daily which are worth $0.01 and 15 second long, your daily earnings will be $0.04, however, this is the minimum earning because there are ALWAYS more ads given to every member which may be 10 or 15 or 20 or more. If we say that a Standard/Free member get 10 additional ads, your earnings are definitely more than $0.04. 

It is pertinent to mention that only 2 to 3 minutes are required to watch all available ads, however, we take it for 3 minutes per PTC website.

We assume that our daily earning from a single PTC website is $0.05. 

Let's do some math:

1 PTC = $0.05

10 PTC = $0.50

20 PTC = $1.00

Only 20 websites are required to earn your first dollar. And keep it in mind that it will take only 1 hour (20 x 3 = 60 minutes) to watch all ads worth $1.00.

1 US dollar daily, 30 dollars every month, this does not seems too much?

Yes!

But don't forget about the system's other options I told you earlier, the referral system.

Referral System plays a vital role in boosting your earnings. Your earning will increase manifold when you refer others, because a percentage of their earnings is given to you as affiliate commission.

If you have got some referrals in your down-line who also work same like you and earn &1.00 each. Then you will also get affiliate commission. Keep it in mind that this will not be deducted from their account, No! it is paid to you as commission only.

Daily earning math from referrals:

You click 4 standard ads (4 x $0.01), then you earn = $0.04

Your 50 referrals click 4 standard ads (50 x 4 x $0.005), then your commission = $1.00

Your total income ($0.04+$4.00) = $1.04

For working on 10 PTC websites (10 x $1.04) = $10.4

Isn't it interesting? Yes! It is...

You just invited people and earned a handsome commission. Now you can do your own math, as how much people you can refer and what commission will you get DAILY.

My math tell me that if I have 100 referrals working in my down-line then my earning and commission will be more than $20 per day. 

This sounds comforting to me to earn $20 daily for working an hour. What about you?

How can I get paid?

Every PTC has different terms, so do the payout threshold. This can be anywhere from $0.01 to $10. Members are required to reach this threshold in order to get their payment processed. Some PTC websites send your funds automatically for processing your payment, while others require manual application. You can request payout through the Payment Processor(s) allowed by PTC website. Once your payment is processed, it is transferred in your payment processor and subsequently you can transfer that money into your bank account and withdraw it in hard cash from any ATM or bank. Few PTC websites also offer wire transfer or direct deposit options, but it is primarily available for USA, UK, Canada and EU residents only.

Where to start?

• Step-1 : Create a separate/ fresh email address and do not use it for any other / personal purpose. (Tip: Always use same username but different password for each site)
• Step-2 : Join a PTC website.
• Step-3 : Join Payment Processor. 
• Step-4 : Watch ads, complete tasks (visit PTC site atleast 2 times daily)
• Step-5 : Build your team by referring other people (your relatives, friends, class fellows, neighbors, etc)
• Step-6 : Establish a Strategy for each PTC site
• Step-7 : Rent Referrals (many PTC sites provide this facility, rent upto maximum limit)
• Step-8 : Accumulate funds to purchase upgrades
• Step-9 : Keep on renting and accumulating funds
• Step-10 : CASHOUT
